My name is Claire Bremner, I was born in Hampshire in a small town called Aldershot. I have had a passion for art since the age of 9. When my mum taught me how to draw my favourite cartoon character.

As my love for art grew, I began to experiment with art work drawing things such as family pets, my dad’s motorcycles, portraits of loved ones and flowers. Gradually my art work became noticed locally, I had pieces of art on display within the local community, and assisted with charity events involving art in the community.

During this time, I was approached by people to do murals of my artwork on walls in people’s homes.
And even designed signage and logos for a few local businesses.

I gradually progressed in to designing tattoos for a local tattoo shop. And worked closely with customers to design their ideas and bring them to life. I have even had the opportunity to design artwork for helmets and tanks for motorcycles with a local group of bikers that frequently visited the tattoo shop.

This was an incredible experience! I enjoy using a range of different materials for my artwork, such as water colour paints, acrylic paints, oil pastels, charcoal, graphite and water based pencils.
I enjoy creating my own unique way of working with the materials and often mix them to create an in depth texture to my artwork. My dream is to own my own art gallery.

I would love to provide an environment for like minded people to share their art and suggestions on how to improve their work. With a view to creating a space that would be educational and accessible to the local community. I am always looking for my next challenge, and ready to take commissions. Please feel free to contact me, I’ll be happy to help.
